KERICHO 2017 HOT SEATS

A leader from Kericho County has appealed to Kenyans to elect credible leaders who will steer the country to economic prosperity in the next’s year general elections.
Chaglano foundation chairman Charles Langat said that the public has a duty to scrutinize every leader so to get the best leaders without tainted image.
“We should ensure that only those leaders with merits in leadership are the only ones eligible for
the positions and that will be a milestone for this country,” said Langat who spoke in Kericho town yesterday.
He called for sober approach in electing of the leaders by ensuring they will not allow politicians to use them to achieve their own selfish ambitions.
“You should elect leaders with good leadership who are competitively able to manage the country’s resources and all development funds in the region,” said     Langat, who has shown interests in contesting for Buret Parliamentary seat.
The leader said voters should reject leaders who disappear after winning elective seats only to re-surface on election days.
''Such leaders had gone under-ground after winning in elections in the past and now as we approaching elections they have come out of their hiding places to seek votes from people they had abandoned and I call on all voters to shame them by rejecting in the fourth-coming general elections,'' noted Langat.
He added that the leaders show Kenyans development projects they have done for them in the last five years they have been in elective posts.
“As a country, we would have attained enormous development if development conscious leaders had been elected in the past, and that time to elect visionary leaders to propel the country forward was now,” he remarked.
